In seattle at pikes market you can easily spend a day and if you go up queen ann hill in seattle there are alot of little shops and ma/pa resturants. kind of trendy in there.
i know more of central oregon because i was living in central OR. you going with kids?
looked at the kalaloch lodge on the internet, looks like a pretty sweet place!
