Irrelevant to the thread but I lost a calf to a snare last week on some land we rent pasture on. We can't check on them daily but get out there at least twice a week. Mother was distressed, calf missing. Found the calf caught by her lower jaw in a snare. She freaked out and ran and I watched her pull her lower jaw off. Must have been caught for a couple of days. I was pretty damn upset but avoided posting anything online that I would later regret.
If you use snares, check them or remove them!!!!!
