Well, I'm saving for a rimfire rifle that will be maybe the second most I've ever spent on a gun....but even then, it's probably worth about 1/3 of what your Python is...or was.
Makes me think I'll have to Google that unicorn once it's revealed. Handguns that expensive are definitely not things I'm normally on the watch for. Don't have my RPAL either...so that's part of it. lol
The only handgun collector I know here in Ontario considers his NIB .475 Wildey Magnum to be his prized possession. Told me be bought 2 back in the day, shoots one...leaves the other in a box, never fired. Not suggesting that's the pistol you're after, but the conversation reminded me of his story about lusting after that particular gun....and how proud he is that he's held onto it that long.
