A 120ttsx could be pushed a touch faster, that would get you there. If I was going to play at long range plinking I would look at the CED bullets now that they are available in canada.
Using 3600fps and the 127gr LRX, I am seeing 1.5" high at 100 and 2.2" low at 300. That is assuming that you can safely reach 3600fps with that bullet. Using the weatherby data, at 3531fps it comes out at more like 2.6" low at 300. Personally, I find that the 300wby case is pretty much maxed out with a .284" bullet, and it offers very little advantage with a smaller bore. I found the same thing when comparing the 7mmRUM and the 7mmstw, once you reach a certain point, more case capacity adds very little velocity.
