When someone dog is missing the last thing they need to hear is they need to find it before the sun goes down or its dead. As time runs out they start to panic and make rash decisions instead of staying cool and thinking about it.

Ive lost plenty of dogs over the years, some for hours some for over night one for a weekend. Best thing i invested in was a GPS unit, the setter I have now isnt afraid to reach out to a mile in search of birds. Its nice to know where they are.
