I sure hope you find your pup.

When you do please next time keep him on a lanyard of some sort. When you throw all the new scents at a pup, the excitement that instinct brings and few shot gun blasts, you can expect him to stop running two counties over.

I'm not chastising you in anyway, I lost a dog a few years ago, luckily after an hour and a half looking for her only to find her back at the truck. After that a lanyard went on for a time or two and she learned her recall quickly.

Good luck I really hope your dog gets to come home.
