Hey Brandon great video!
I have a few questions that I am having issues solving that I am hoping you can help me with. I just picked up the Marcum Lx5i this season and have had success on it however I am not using it too its potential.
1) How far do you put the transducer down your hole? My manual indicated it should only be 1-2 inches down however this way you will read and see a lot of ice at the top
2) What is the typical range setting that should be used? I was on slave few weeks back and had to use it between 5-6 just to see my hook coming up and down.
3) What is the minimum depth that you think that these flashers should be used at? Is it pointless for 5-6'? I was using mine at 12-15 FOW
It would be greatly appreciated to hear your feedback on this.
