I've had good luck with the nikons. Have the monarch 3 in 2.5-10x42 and a 4-16: been happy with both although I do find the circles on the BDC reticle to be a bit too cumbersome for anything past about 400 yards. Would probably go for their mildot reticle next time.
Also have the Monarch 5 binos which I've been happy with. Good value for the money for the scopes and binos
Can't say the same about the Nikon range finders...
