Default Good choice

You really can't go wrong with either rifles. I have hunted with both and find my preference goes to the Sako only by a margin.
Both should produce about the same accuracy seeing they both are identical barrels minus the flutting.
I found the actions to be similar but the Sako stronger having 3 locking lugs compared to the Tikka's two.
The real difference is the open action on the Sako. Just far easier to top feed the Sako rifle. I also over think the situation that may occur when hunting. Having a rifle that feeds rounds quickly from the top for back situations just makes sense to me. The new t3x does allow for top feed just no where near as easy.
The magazines are very similar with the Tikka's being all polymer construction and Sako's polymer with stainless feeding lips.
All in all it really comes down to your budget. Tikka's are nice but the Sako is nicer.
My 2 cents worth.
