Translation: the customers are still lining up to purchase this product despite the known deficiencies; we no longer feel it is necessary to offer an incentive as it simply cuts into our profit. 
OP- scrap the meat, garbage bag and in to the trash. It is not worth taking the chance with your long term health, or the health of your pets.
