The trick for us is to fix what we can our selves, and farm out the major stuff to our friend...

We've been doing this for years as it saves us founds over the long hual...

Start small with your tech dude,,, get into the one on one with them,,, you get to know them and they get to know you...

This is most important in all business transactions,,, our tech friend saved use thousands of dollars over the years,,, He's doing a small repair on one of our farm units this week,,, $1600 all in with new parts and labour...

This same work over at a big dealer ship shop would be $2200 to $2400 ish easy,,, at least him and his staff get it right / right off the bat...

As I mentioned this on another thread a few years ago,, build a trust thing for the import things in life...

Another good savings for us is getting our repairs done on slow time stand by because we have lots of back up units,,, his company can address his major roll in and out clients first,,, and catch our stuff when it's slow...

A win win for both of us as it cuts down on labour costs...

We keep him and his crew working as he keeps us going...

PS: You will know who your man/ Gal is when you find out that they only work for specific clientele only... That way they know that their not going to get stiffed by out side foreigners in a vast market of takers these days...

Our friend has been at this game for 45 years with 22 years in his own business,,, his daughter is taking it over with 13 years under her belt...

Honda and Dodge are thier main,,, Ford and Chev are the next in line...

Light to heavy duty with a large shop to show thier here to stay,,, they do this on their acreage with in the farming and ranching community that also supports them,,, 30 to 50 units per week as they are expanding the next shop...

Ye Ha to kin folk as a bound business continues...

The short idea of this is trust,,, it goes both ways...

Cheers from the North
