I posted a similar picture on another site with the lower part of a deer leg that was left for me in a snare and one fella went right off his stick. He figured that the deer had chewed his leg off.
It happens from time to time when you’re baiting with butcher scraps. I’ll take what bait I can get, beggars can’t be choosers, but I like intact roadkill to avoid that kind of stuff.
