Use Septobac in black (and grey tanks occasionally) as this stuff eats up the waste and prevents blockages. I had a blocked black tank and this stuff freed it up in a few days, now I use it regularly.

They call it the GEO method (Dawn dish soap, Calgon water softener and ice cubes). I’ve tried it, haven’t noticed any improvement.
