Are you reloading your own bullets, because factory weatherby 338 378 only come in 200gr and up and are flying out at 3380, the 30 378 on the other hand has a 180gr and is around 3460. I believe the new tipped barns in a 130gr is flying out at 3750 in the 30 378.
