I haven't had any issues with my helicals through my whisker biscuit. My bow is tuned right to 60 yards with my current setup. I definitely don't have to aim off 3" at 40 yards. Now I do have to say that I'm not shooting a very steep offset helical. I use a Bohning Pro jig and my helical is set at just 1 degree. So what Lefty said, slight offset or straight is probably best.
