Even if the Rem is a lot cheaper, do yourself a favour and get the Tikka. Latest Rems have a lot of really bad QC issues and with Rem announcing bankruptcy I doubt they will be getting better.
If you want some other choices. Sako, Weatherby and Cooper make a great LH gun, so does Browning if you can get used to the 60 degree bolt lift.
