If you're not particular about the lake, there's always Pine Lake.
Whispering Pines Golf has some lots that the owners rent seasonally - and there's Lakeside Country Resort (used to be Scotty's) that's been renovated.
We used to camp at Spruce Bay and Scotty's, but now have a place at Whispering Pines and like it just fine. Our cottage is on the 18th fairway and it's a short cart ride to our boat. For us, it couldn't be more convenient.
