One of the wolves was so bad that it stood on the bait and could hardly walk away when the skidoo drove up to him. Some were skinny and starving to death as well.
Interesting though the wolves I caught in the areas I was in last year all seemed fairly healthy. I think thinking out the pack or even coyotes in these areas helps them in the long run
There's no doubt it does. Thin out the inffected ones and it gives a chance for the others to bounce back. I seen it this year as the coyotes started look better then last year. Wolves not so much.
