I've got a Cannon powershot 16x zoom, really easy to use or you can set the exposure manually takes video's too . It has the steady hands deal perfect for shaky hands like mine even zoomed all the way out the pic's are clear. Look for one that takes AA batteries rather than rechargeable battery pack, 2 lithium batteries lasts for hundreds of shots.
