Last time that happened (two years ago around here), many could not drive on their fields to seed them. Many of those who did manage to seed, had a lot of rot, etc. Hay was great though!
Driving to Calgary that summer, don’t recall where exactly, about half way, I remember seeing quite a few fields looking like rice fields, full of water.
Would be nice to just have a “normal” year for a change, imo. The last few were weird: too wet, too dry, too warm, too something else, etc.
