The goats did not fare well through the winter of 2017 and their population was reduced in a big way in the area I hunted and scouted for 3 mths culminating the end of October 2018. It will take more than a 1 mild winter to see a difference IMHO.

We have zero snow in SE Alberta right now and I mean literally ZERO, there are fire restrictions in place as we speak.

I spent 13 hrs on the Block hunting cow elk on Jan 14/19 and the volume of goats was quite encouraging(yes I realize it's a haven for them).
