I use on the small end 6.5 PRC and 308.
On the uper end, 7STW, 338 & 45-70.
I've never been one to spout BS about "this is all you need" or "this is a minimum required".
I use them all petty much equally and they all work but, some are better in certain situations.
A fast heavy bullet will make a big exit hole more often than a small slow one.
I'd prefer to see a big exit hole even when I don't need one.
