Uh, that isn't the fault of your evil corporations. That's greedy homeowners taking as much as they can get. When an owner is selling their home and someone offers them a million, they should say "oh gee, that's too much. I'll take $700,000. That's more than enough".
I will say that an NDP win should get housing prices under control. When economies collapse prices usually go down. Look at Alberta.
