Default Trophy Antelope

Good luck to those heading out for Trophy Antelope! Be safe and smart. If haven't already done so, go buy a small fire extinguisher to carry with you while out in the field - they are less than $30 at Canadian Tire, half the price of the antelope tag. It's VERY dry this year in antelope country.

We have 4 trophy antelope tags, all with family members who haven't hunted for years together - we're all looking forward to it.

Finally, our group has a couple of bull elk tags as well for the zones surrounding Suffield (in all directions) and stretching out to Taber and Bassano. From my scouting and talking thus far, there aren't nearly as many elk as before (~7,400 head at peak to about ~1,500 now) but we're hoping for some luck and catch some on the move out of the British bloc.

Please shoot me a PM if you see some bull elk while antelope hunting - those were a 10+ year wait for those tags as well so we could use any help from the hunting community to fold them.

Good luck!
