I also think Marky is right,if you have another rifle that shoots well I would go with the one that I have some trigger time on and go knock over a couple elk.and then take your time for the break in part of your new rifle which you don't want to over do it and not be ready .Just my 2 cents and go enjoy your hunt.First day of a new rifle can be a real nut buster when your in a hurry.
