Default Stone boat designs

Anyone know of a great - multipurpose - DIY stone boat design?

Years ago we had the old basic salvaged wood version and it worked ok for years until it basically rotted away. In the last few years I've realized that I could use another but something a bit more modern and advanced. ie adjustable height skids, tie downs, maybe nylon runners, rot proof of course. Ability to attach wheels, rails, etc.

Eg. On the weekend I bought over $1,000 of PT lumber (12' 6x6s, 4x6s, etc) and started to build a support framework for our old rusting bridge that I recently jacked out of the mud. Had a heck of a time dragging the first beginnings of a base to the site. The whole process would have been a snap if I had a stone boat with tie downs, attachable/detachable wheels, etc.

Anyway, every so often I see a need for a decent stone boat and might as well build a good one if I'm going to build anything at all.

Note: Rock sled is another old name for these.
