Python locks or wire cable can be cut with a simple pair of wire cutters in a couple of minutes. A few strands at a time is the approach.
We've had to do it twice when we've lost/forgot the keys.
Transport chain is better, but quite a bit heavier. Python is ok but won't stop a prepared/determined thief.
