I was wondering if I can use my 870 with a 28 inch barrel with Full Choke for deer hunting, or do I have to purchase a new barrel? Current barrel has interchangeable tubes from Full choke to modified. Gun can shoot 2 3/4, 3 and 3 1/2, if so what brand of slug would you recommend? Thanks. Thus will be my first year deer hunting in Alberta.
