Dug out my notes to find this 'maximum parallax error' formula that I came across on the rimfire central site. It shows the maximum error you could have when shooting at various distances with a scope with a fixed parallax adjustment. If you are really consistent with keeping your eye centered in the eyepiece, you will have no error. Included a few examples using a 100m parallax.
