A little off course, but how is it constitutional/legal for the insurance companies to charge more based on age/gender etc? Driving record is obviously applicable. I mean there are so many laws and they are being applied more and more often that you can not discriminate based on these attributes yet they will plainly tell you that is the reason. I'm 24 and have a clean record, paying approx. $1500 on 7 year old truck. It's not the worst, but based on my record am I not any more of a liability..... Also, next year when I get my box of driving talent in the mail for my 25th birthday then my rates go down a bit more, yay!
