I shoot gophers to 160 yards quite comfortably with my 22. With this sight in model max low is 1.5 right at the barrel and max high is 1.5 at 50 yards so even for the close shots there isn't much adjustment required. All my 22 scopes are Mil dots, 3.6 " at 100, 1.8" at 50, .9 at 25. Makes it pretty easy to hit exactly where you want to.
