Im hoping soon. According to the city officials I spoke to last year about opening it up, they said its up to the fire department to deem it safe. Right now they say its not open due to ice flows. You can sign up for email updates on the launch on the city website. I heard rumors of the river still being covered west of town, but only rumors. Can anyone confirm this?
