Interesting. Some of the quick research (on the academic side, not the blog side) has suggested there's a very high chance a couple year old intact boar is going to be taint-central. It's a lot of work but maybe just to kill, gut and hang, then try a couple samples. It's the boiling and scraping that I'm not thrilled about if we might end up tossing it.

And less important but still annoying, because he's in city limits we can't use a firearm to kill him.
