When it comes to leaving stuff to kids like guns and such, we sometimes forget that even though we hold a high sentimental value on some things, our kids may not .
There are only a few guns that I own that my son would consider keeping .
When my father was divesting himself of his guns he had explicit instructions - sell what I wanted and put in the family account or keep it , my choice .
I sold most of his match rifles except for a couple , the same with his shotguns .
What my son does with my rifles and shotguns will be left up to him , my favourite gun is surprisingly not his!
