#2/ What do I do with a primed casing which is unsafe to fire? Ie, it now has a live primer but is not safe to reload and fire. Can I chamber it and fire the primer then dispose of the casing?yes you can, just fire off the primer, I do it sometimes in my basement, let the wife know before hand, and maybe crank some tunes so the neighbours don't get wise. Watch the muzzle mind you.

Thanks in advance for the advice.
