6.5 Creedmoor offers no magic, but to say it is as good as the 6.5x55 is pretty high praise. It does well by cranking pressure to the max.
But, the 6.5x55 arrived 120 years ago.
I like 7x57, also arrived more than a century ago, but a game animal won't show any difference. 7mm08 is more of same, designed to sell new rifles.
Dead is dead enough.
