Congratulations to your son.

My boy is 11 and will start hunting this fall. He has no interest in a vertical bow, but loves to shoot my crossbow. And he's darn good with it too! If it wasn't for the crossbow he wouldn't hunt until he was 14, but by then, who knows. His interest in hunting may be gone.
