I woulda said something as well, it is a service to the retailer to let them know a suspected pricing error. If they choose not to listen that is fine, but in my mind anyone who is looking at over $1000 for a gun is going to either going to talk to an experienced retailer or know at least enough to spot a $500 pricing variation.
