Good question. I do believe so all I can say is:
"God said, "Let the waters swarm with fish and other life. Let the skies be filled with birds of every kind." So God created great sea creatures and every sort of fish and every kind of bird. If you think about it the Bible is a very condense version of a lot of things that took place. Could you imagine how many books a person would have to carry or store if each fish, animal, tree, vegetation...etc. was written about in detail. I don't think anyone would have a building to keep all that info in.
