Out today doing some long range plinking and get a little bit of 80gr VLD therapy with my precision .223 build. I hadn’t shot it since my birthday in May. Just 7 misses out of 100 shots onto a 6” plate at 500m. It’s the gun with no recoil. A laser beam.
Anyways...back home to de-cap, tumble, dry, size, trim (actually none of them needed trimming), prime, charge, and seat. I got up to the charging step. I’ll continue in the morning. I have such a great load. Not only is it deadly accurate to a kilometre, but it’s easy on the rifle and brass. This batch of a hundred cases has now been fired 15 times and still has tight primer pockets. I love Lapua cases.
