Thanks to all of you. The rifle was bought by my dad about 1965 in Leduc for my brother, who has no interest in shooting and gave it to me. It is pretty mint, with the rabbit pistol grip, Monte Carlo stock, and a .75 inch Weaver C4 in a side mount that shoots quite well. I was having trouble getting it to cycle cleanly, but I lubed the action properly and checked the fitting of the parts, and now it will load and eject 12 dummy .22LR rounds quite nicely.

I have my dad's 1975 12-gauge Wingmaster as well, and it is also a nice keeper. Although only a 2.75 inch receiver, I have a modern steel shot-capable barrel with Remchoke for it as well as the original full choke barrel, so I can hunt or shoot clay pigeons nicely.

Both bring back many happy memories. See you all at CHAS Genessee soon!

Many thanks,
Albertacowboy
