I fished with Nootka Marine Adventures in August and they were starting to take guys out when I was there but they said the bite was on hard yet.
They said late august and into september is supposed to be amazing.
Like Buckbrush said they head quite far out, 30+ miles.
On a side note anyone looking for amazing salmon fishing. Nootka marine is the best ive seen in my 7 trips west. We went self guided and rented their boat and HAMMERED big springs steady.
