There is usually one in my truck, and always a shotgun and .22 when I head to the lake.
Over the years I have had to dispatch several animals that were hit on the road, so the .22 is normally in the truck.
However, when I am out hiking up here I rarely carry one unless I plan on doing some target shooting, I carry my bow however for shooting stumps and other targets of opportunity.
