I caught 7 wolves about that bad this year and a few others that were not a whole lot better. Worst luck i have had in an area.
One of the wolves was so bad that it stood on the bait and could hardly walk away when the skidoo drove up to him. Some were skinny and starving to death as well.
Interesting though the wolves I caught in the areas I was in last year all seemed fairly healthy. I think thinking out the pack or even coyotes in these areas helps them in the long run
