I would only boil a Badgers skull for a few minutes the check to see if clinging flesh soft enough to scrape off with blade or pull with needle nose pliers. Can re emerse every now an then to soften flesh up some more in simmering water. Don't want to overboil nose/face area to much or dgredation will be bad. Also keep track of any teeth that fall out. Don't want to throw them away with the water. I always add some powdered TSP to my boil pot for keeping grease down and help whiten skull. Good luck.
