good weight-forward floating line with a couple split shots pinned infront of your streamer gets the job done on 85% of the flowing water in alberta.
Why not chuck some streamers under a bobber, sorry an indicator
and call it a day? You can dead drift them, twitch them, pulse them, have a big nasty loop of line dragging who cares.
