A Pelican is 2 pieces of ABS molded separately top and bottom. The hull and deck is then joined together afterwards. Which is why its one of my last choices.….hmmmm depends I guess on the koolaid we or you drink in general some say this design is structurally sound and the best.....gotta hate the guy who runs a ugly stick rod too but hey gets the job done with little to no issues...but at the end of the day its the OP's bank account...if he/she wants to fork out a lot of cash for something just getting into then so be it....I always say experiment with what's out there and find your niche not someone else's aaaaaand do it so your not pouring a poop load of cash into...at first.
