Seems like the whites spend most of their time in deep water in the lakes I am typically fishing for pike (northern boreal). Back in the day, one used to see numerous rises in the evenings, but that doesn't seem near as common anymore. Water clarity can be an issue as well.
Not looking for specific lakes, but rather specific water types, depths, time of year etc.
