If it's a decent crop fair value would be around $14/acre to cut and 10-$12 a bale to bale.

Not sure what area you are in or where you plan to market the hay but in many cases, especially if selling locally round bales are more desirable to ranchers. The big squares are more convenient and work well for long hauls.
Weeds ?

What was the seed mixture ? Alfalfa ? Clovers ? Grasses ?

Will it be floated this year ?

Are you planning on fertilizing it ?

As you can see, lots of variables that need consideration.
