My Rem model 725 in 280! She’s a beauty, great condition. I think it’s a ‘61 or ‘62 and shoots better than all my new fancy hunting rigs. But it’s to pretty, it’s just a safe queen now, I bring it to the rang now and then .. after about 5 shots with the metal butt plate is all you need
I though I’d never sell a gun until I bought a new Marlin 45-70 guide gun a couple years ago. What a piece of junk, every moving piece on that gun had an extra 1/4 inch of play.. rattled like crazy sold it off fast.
